Ingredients
- All-Purpose Flour (150g): Forms the base of the cookie dough.
- Butter (100g): Adds richness and helps create a crumbly texture.
- Brown Sugar (100g): Provides sweetness and a hint of molasses flavor.
- Rolled Oats (75g): Adds texture and a nutty flavor reminiscent of crumble topping.
- Apple (1, finely chopped): Fresh apple pieces add natural sweetness and moisture.
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the oven
Set your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Step 2: Prepare the cookie dough
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Stir in the flour and oats until the mixture resembles a crumble. Fold in the chopped apple pieces gently.
Step 3: Shape the cookies
Scoop spoonfuls of the dough, shape them into small rounds, and place them on the baking tray, leaving space between each cookie.
Step 4: Bake the cookies
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The cookies should still be slightly soft in the center.
Step 5: Cool and serve
Allow the cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
